Here's a few photos of my latest painting. These photos don't do it justice at all. It has lots of layers and texture everywhere that are hard to see unless you are standing in front of it but at least you can get the idea.
This piece was inspired by feelings of losing control, learning to let go and allowing a higher power to take you where you need to go, followed by intense happiness and feelings of relief in doing so.

The paints used in the balloon portion of this painting are Claudine Hellmuth's new Studio line of paints. They worked fantastic. They have a very smooth consistancy and have a nice semi-opaque quality that is very nice for washes. :) I like her multi-medium too. Non-toxic and it even smells good. The only thing is, I wish it came in larger containers! hehe
