
I have not painted very many pictures of Bank of America on fire, even though if you look at their stock price they are more deserving of the symbolic blaze than Chase. To be honest there is one simple reason, all the Bank of America branches are horribly ugly buildings more akin to prison architecture. But somehow this building caught my eye, it's been a painting I've worked on on and off since 2007, before the reality of the economic situation we are in had dawned on us all... the fire is a recent addition. oil on canvas 40 by 32 link to work in progress
